If you have diarrhea and it just started, don’t use pomegranate.
However if you have chronic diarrhea or dysentery you can use pomegranate in the form of a decoction of the rind.

How to use pomegranate for improved fertility?

When you are trying to conceive it is best for women to eat 3 warm dishes a day. Or at least dishes that have been prepared before and are eaten at room temperature in a later stage. The reason for this is simple: an egg likes to nestle itself in a warm environment. Therefore a warm belly enhances fertility.
The suggestions below are therefore warm dishes.

  1. Make some gluten and lactose free pancakes for breakfast and add some pomegranate seeds through the batch.
  2. Garnish your pumpkin, cauliflower or parsnip soup with some pomegranate seeds and pine nuts. Also stir some through the soup just before serving so they can warm up a bit together with the soup.
  3. Stir them through your warm millet porridge in the morning. Millet has a stabilising effect and therefore also helps to prevent from a miscarriage during pregnancy.
